Smith Mountain Marine Service & Sales performs diagnosis, maintenance and repairs on sterndrive, outboard and inboard engines and drive systems. We have serviced some of the smallest boats on the lake, to the largest cruisers! We provide complete winterization (and also summerization) services to hundreds of boats on the lake, in the marina and those brought in by trailer.

With our two marine boat lifts, we are able to haul out and launch most vessels up to 16 foot beam and up to 40,000 pounds.
Off-season (winter months after winterizations), we do many “winter jobs” such as engine replacements and more, so that your boat is ready for summer!
OUCH!! Did you damage your prop or skeg over the summer? Drop off your prop at our shop and get it back in great shape, or have us do all the work! SMMS&S also can order new props for Mercury and Mercruiser products. We stock some new and a few reconditioned props year-round.
